About the role

Before an employer sends someone to Dubai or brings a family to Berlin, finance wants to know the full cost. This analyst builds those estimates and later compares them with actual spend. You work with the tax and payroll specialists on gross-up and tax effects, and with relocation consultants on real housing and school fees. Your models need to be transparent enough that a client's finance team can follow every assumption.

What you will do

  • Build cost-of-assignment projections for long-term, short-term and commuter assignments
  • Maintain allowance data for housing, cost of living and schooling in key locations
  • Model tax gross-ups and social security costs with the tax team
  • Reconcile projected against actual assignment costs and explain variances
  • Prepare clear summaries for client HR and finance

What you bring

  • 3+ years in financial analysis, compensation or mobility cost modelling
  • Advanced Excel; Power BI or a similar tool is useful
  • Understanding of payroll and tax concepts such as gross-up and net-to-gross
  • Precision with assumptions and version control
