About the role
German clients often come to us after a role has stayed open for months. This senior recruiter takes the hard IT and engineering searches, agrees a realistic profile with the hiring team and decides which markets to search. Many strong candidates come from the Persian-speaking diaspora in Europe, from Türkiye and from India. You work with the Berlin immigration desk on Blue Card eligibility and with the regional recruiters, whose shortlists you review weekly.
What you will do
- Agree role profiles with hiring managers, including salary bands that meet Blue Card thresholds where needed
- Decide sourcing markets per search and brief regional recruiters
- Run technical screening calls for software, data and electrical engineering roles
- Review shortlists from junior colleagues before they reach clients
- Report search progress to clients each week in plain language
What you bring
- 6+ years of technical recruitment, with at least 2 years hiring into Germany
- German at B2 for client meetings and English at C1
- Ability to hold a technical conversation about cloud, data or power engineering roles
- Experience of the EU Blue Card process from the employer side
- A record of coaching other recruiters
Good to have
- Persian or Turkish
- Experience with the §81a AufenthG fast-track procedure
Languages
English (C1), German (B2), Persian or Turkish an advantage
