The role in brief
We run payroll coordination for clients who employ people in the UAE through their own entities or through employer of record partners. This coordinator collects monthly changes, checks them and prepares SIF files for the Wage Protection System. You work with client HR, the immigration desk (for joiners whose work permits are still being issued) and our finance team. Late or incorrect WPS files can block a company's MOHRE transactions, so you plan each month carefully.
Your days will include
- Collect and validate monthly inputs: joiners, leavers, allowances, overtime and deductions
- Prepare and check WPS salary information files before submission through the agent bank or exchange house
- Calculate end-of-service gratuity and final settlements under UAE labour law
- Reconcile payroll reports against bank confirmations and resolve rejected records
- Answer employee payroll questions clearly and on time
What we're looking for
- 3+ years in UAE payroll or payroll coordination
- Hands-on WPS experience, including handling rejections
- Strong Excel skills: lookups, pivot tables, reconciliations
- Knowledge of gratuity rules and leave salary calculations
- Discretion with salary data
Helpful, not essential
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll or a regional payroll system
- Knowledge of the DEWS scheme for DIFC employees
Languages you'll need
English (C1), Arabic or Hindi an advantage
