You're trusting us with personal details, sometimes before you've even decided to move. Here is what we collect, why, where it sits and how long we keep it.
Who looks after your data
Spreehafen Innovationen GmbH, Theodor-Heuss-Allee 112, 60486 Frankfurt am Main, Germany, is responsible for your data on this site. If you have a question about it, write to contact@lindendune.com. A person will answer.
Nothing is stored on your device
We don't use cookies, and we don't put anything in your browser's storage. You won't see a cookie banner here because there is nothing to agree to.
What we count when you visit
To see how the site is used, we record the address of the page you open, the page that sent you here, any campaign parameters in the link, your approximate country and your type of device.
We don't store your IP address. To count unique visitors within one day, we create a one-way hash that changes every day, so a visit today can't be linked to a visit tomorrow.
We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest in running and improving the site, under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. These records are kept for 14 months and then deleted.
How the site reaches you
The site is delivered through Cloudflare. To do that, Cloudflare processes connection data, such as the technical details your browser sends when it asks for a page.
When you apply for a role
We use what you send us, including your CV, to assess your application. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, as steps taken before a possible employment contract, and for employment in Germany also § 26 BDSG.
If you reached a job page by clicking an ad, we store the ad's click identifier with your application. It tells us which campaigns bring in applicants, and nothing more.
How long we keep an application
We delete your application 6 months after the role has been filled.
If you tick the box to stay in our talent pool, we keep your details for 12 months so we can contact you about other roles. You can withdraw that consent whenever you like by writing to contact@lindendune.com, and we'll delete your details.
Where your application is stored
Applications are stored with Cloudflare. The database is hosted in Western Europe, and CVs sit in private storage that can't be reached from the open web. Only the people involved in hiring can open them.
What you can ask of us
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to limit how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to object to its processing. Write to contact@lindendune.com and we'll take it from there.
You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority.
