The role in brief
Our clients hire people from outside the EU and need them settled and working quickly. The relocation consultant meets the employee on arrival and stays with them through registration, housing and the first official appointments. You work with the immigration case managers on residence permits and with client HR on start dates. This is the most visible part of what we do, and the part people remember. In many German cities an Anmeldung appointment can take weeks to find, so planning ahead matters.
Your days will include
- Run pre-arrival calls covering documents, temporary housing and what to expect in the first week
- Accompany assignees to Anmeldung at the Bürgeramt and to the Ausländerbehörde where needed
- Organise apartment viewings, review lease contracts and explain Schufa, deposits and Nebenkosten
- Arrange bank accounts, health insurance enrolment, tax ID follow-up and Kita or school registration
- Log every case step in our relocation system so colleagues can pick it up
What we're looking for
- 2+ years in relocation, immigration support, HR operations or a related service role
- German at B2 or higher and English at C1
- Practical, detailed knowledge of Frankfurt am Main or another major German city
- Calm with families arriving tired after long flights
- Ability to manage around 15 open cases at once
Helpful, not essential
- Hindi, Arabic, Turkish or Persian
- Driving licence valid in Germany
Languages you'll need
English (C1), German (B2)
